Driving Results through Project Completion
World Class Aseptic Liquid Filling
The client had non-carbonated, high acid, hot fill products that were produced both domestically and internationally and required technical expertise to transition the products to aseptic filling. Morgan provided technical project management and worked with the client to define critical parameters and project scope to most efficiently and effectively achieve the project goals and benchmarks. Assessments were conducted internationally across multiple sites and the information gathered was compiled into a database of best practices and lessons learned. Morgan conducted a detailed gap analysis to identify the areas of improvement in current operations, which was then combined with the assessments and used to facilitate process benchmarking. Using the best practices collected in the site visits and the expertise of Morgan’s team, the client had the opportunity to simplify the manufacturing system and reduce both capital costs and operating complexity.
Snack Product Continuous Improvement
Having recently installed new production lines for a variety of snack products, the client requested assistance supporting continuous improvement initiatives to improve line efficiencies and drive product quality. The Morgan team worked across multiple sites to identify process improvements, conduct root cause analyses, and improve line setting documentation to improve overall product quality. Employing close collaboration with the on-site operations team, Morgan led continuous improvement initiatives to establish process setting centerlines, track process performance, and amplify line productivity. Using the expertise of the Morgan team, data collection methods were optimized and the frequency of data analysis in correlation to product attributes was increased to better align process settings with product quality.
Training & Technical Operations Support
Having just completed a capital project to install and commission a new product line, the client requested an SME to come in and prepare training documents and execute on-site training sessions for the operations team. A product and process SME from Morgan was brought in to prepare and train the manufacturing team on the operational guidelines and SOPs necessary to enable a successful startup and ongoing operation.
